What we do
Over 165 million people are playing and coaching baseball in over 140 counties worldwide. Millions more are involved through their kids and families. 17 million of these players are in the United States, while the other 140 million are outside of the United States. We may not be able to reach them all with the gospel, but we’re going to try. And if we fall short, we’ll be closer than we are today. Plus, we are the kind of people that would rather go down swinging to end the game than be left on deck anyway. Would you like to join us? We’d love to have you on the team. Dig in the box with us, and let’s take a hack. Or as my dad used to say, “hey son, get in there and get you a mess”.
Resources
Provide the following through our social media and website:
-Short encouragement through scripture, videos, and devotions via social media.
-Weekly chapel templates you can use to lead a chapel for your team.
-Bible studies and devotions designed to use for a season or short period of time with your team, coaching staff, or family.
Community and Guidance
-A weekly online gathering broken down by age group (Professional. Collegiate. High School. Youth. Coach. Parent) to be encouraged through a devotion, prayer, and discussion, designed to help you grow in your faith throughout your baseball journey.
-Weekly emails with updates and encouragement.
-Opportunities to have regular contact via phone/zoom/visits with our staff that provides a safe and confidential space to talk, process, share struggles, receive advice/prayer/encouragement as you navigate your faith and baseball journey. Our staff has years of chaplaincy, ministry, and baseball experience working with players and coaches as they navigate their journey.
Partnership
-Our goal is not to be the ones that “do” the chaplaincy. Our goal is to equip others to be the leader on their team, or in their dugout, facility, academy.
-We aim to identify like-minded organizations and individuals to partner with locally, regionally, and internationally. We will work alongside these organizations to provide resources, encouragement, and support to expand their reach and impact.
-A focus of our partnerships, will be to use those involved in our efforts, to serve our partnership opportunities in the form of service and in-person trips locally and internationally.
